Good news to the world today! The Baker/Hamilton Commission has finally finished it's review of the war in Iraq!

Does anyone really think that for a moment the President really wanted this commission? Or how about Democrats for that matter? For a group of individuals that were elected to ensure that the country was safe the oversight sought by the dual party system has been remarkably lacking in practice.

Lets all face facts - Iraq is better without Saddam in control. Any liberal who wants to debate whether or not the removal of a murdering despot (who killed hundreds of thousands of people) was wrong of us is the first person I want to ask why they always whine about us not doing enough to stop "evil doers" in the world.

The President clearly did not deliver an effective reconstruction plan for Iraq. The Pentagon did not properly anticipate the level of religious intolerance that exists in the Muslim world as well.

Were does this leave us? Some thoughts tomorrow.........

Welcome!

We here at the Schmidt Report are currently researching several stories. Our goal here is to present a commonsense approach and viewpoint on many of today's stories.

Check back on the 28th for the first posting. Remember - Liberals beware!
